Saint Mary Seminary students take next steps in Religious Profession

Saint Mary Seminary congratulates its students who professed perpetual vows, renewed temporary vows, and professed first vows in their religious communities.  Brother Emmanuel Padilla Contreras professed perpetual vows in the Congregation of Saint Joseph on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Brother Emmanuel is a Fifth Theology seminarian.




CSJ Brother Francisco Honorato Garnica, Fourth Theology, (below) renewed his temporary profession while in Rome this summer,   and Brother Ivan Hernandez Perez, (left) Second Theology, renewed his temporary profession on Sunday, August 12, 2017.



The Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament received the First Profession of vows of Sister April Marie Candelaria and Sister Katherine Marie McClosky.  Both Sisters are in the Master of Arts program.

Sister Lourdes Furnells received the religious habit as a novice on September 24, 2017, the feast of Our Lady of Mercy. Sister Lourdes begins her novitiate as a Mercedarian Sister of the Blessed Sacrament.

Saint Mary Seminary rejoices in these young men and women as they continue their journey as vowed religious.
