Saint Mary Seminary students take next steps in Religious Profession

Saint Mary Seminary congratulates its students who belong to religious communities and who professed perpetual vows, renewed temporary vows, and professed first vows recently.

On August 15, 2018, the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament received the First Profession of vows of Sister Kathryne Lopez and Sister Yvelyne Bernard.  Both Sisters are in the Master of Arts program. The Most Reverend Nelson Perez presided at the Mass of Religious Profession

On September 24, 2018 Bishop Roger Gries presided at Morning Prayer during which two Mercedarian Postulants received the religious habit and formally began their Novitiate. Sister Raquel Gutierrez (l) and Sister Tonia Borsellino (r) with Bishop Gries. In addition to their religious formation, these two sisters continue their studies in the graduate program.
