MoloneywebSpecial Intensive Elective - Mullen Scholar in Residence

St. Mary Seminary & Graduate School of Theology announces The Gospel of Mark, a 2 credit hour course taught by world-renowned Scriptural exegete, and Mullen Scholar in Residence, Rev. Francis J. Moloney, SDB, assisted by Rev. Mark Ott, SSL.

Rev. Francis Moloney, SDB, now at the Catholic University of Australia, comes with a rich background of teaching Scripture at Rome’s Pontifical Biblical Institute, the Ecole Biblique in Jerusalem, and the Catholic University of America, among other places. An associate editor of The Catholic Biblical Quarterly, Fr. Moloney has authored 36 books and hundreds of articles. With Licentiate degrees in theology and Scripture from Rome, a doctorate from Oxford University (1976), Fr. Moloney will give the 2013 Mullen Lecture on September 29.

This course, taught at the Master of Arts level, is conveniently timed to fit within the schedules of those who would like to include it for credit in their academic programs. or auditors seeking personal or professional enrichment. The course will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:40 PM to 8:30 PM, from August 27 through October 10, 2013.
